4- Do I need to pay for my Grooming Classes and Portfolio?
Every model will need to pay for their Grooming Classes and portfolio , regardless of what you may have heard , you will have to invest in your own GROOMING COURSE AND PORTFOLIO SHOOT for your own career . All the professional those are earning have also invested in the beginning of their career in this and still keep doing and then they are earning now , Make Up Artists have to invest firstly in doing some professional course , then have to buy lots of make stuff from fair complexioned girls to dusky girls ,all different stuff for these , and all the brushes , foundations , lashes , fixer, concealer, highlighter, shadows, kits etc. etc. Photographers have to do a course too or assist someone for years first and then they have to own/rent the studio later when they begin themselves , very expensive cameras and lenses , professional lights ,back grounds, stands and hundred other things which they require . And an agency would have a place, electricity, website ,staff, helping people, editors ,and hundreds of miscellaneous expenses, same goes to a model too, in the beginning models have to invest in their career like others and then you can earn in future and keep earning for long for many years or so . This investment at the right place is always gonna pay back and it's essential , those who starts by free or by collaboration type of stuff ,do not reach height normally and mostly don't get the best guidance and handling too as anyone can shoot nowadays but to complete the entire procedure of a model to be successful and guiding her and providing models all the required platform, showing them the best path and overall guidance is only the experienced ,real and renowned people can give those who have already launched many successful models and can make you also in that list . So yes this investment is MUST for all the models .

5- Do I need a prior Appointment for a meeting?
Yes you do need an Appointment as we are always not meeting models or wanna be models or other professionals as well ,we might be busy in our Grooming classes ,Shoots or in Traveling to many other important works , No meeting we take without prior appointments. So to get our proper time for your modelling by us , it is advisable to take appointments and come ,when we can also be prepared and can meet you to guide you or to make you join us . You can call/ e-mail to book your appointment with us, but nowadays we are taking only selective appointments of those who are almost sure already to start their modelling career by us.

6- Do agencies guarantee work?
No agency will guarantee work as real agency will actually do what they say, that is why they are real and they are concerned about their image and commitments and they also would like to see their own product ,their models to grow and achieve success and satisfaction as they would all have one more model in their success list ,so they will do all required efforts and steps of their own of the protocols required normally without even saying for it ,remember fake people only mostly guarantee work at they have nothing to lose and have no whereabouts of themselves, good and genuine people normally do their work with utmost sincerity and they do not need to make unnecessary commitments or so, and success or work will depend on models efforts, time devotion, sincerity, skills, level ,approach and overall their caliber too, Best Modeling agency can groom you and can show your the real path, but it's you who has to walk on that path, so no genuine agency will guarantee work normally .

7- How much a model can earn?
It depends and varies on model to model as in the beginning everyone has to start with some struggle and slowly only by default , No one can become a famous or successful model overnight ,but this is lucrative profession certainly , so with your best launch provided to you by FACES MODEL MANAGEMENT and combination of your efforts, sincerity, continuous acts of learning and improving and trying, networking skills, patience ,approach to people, overall caliber and time a model get work and there is no limit of success as such ,one can earn a decent ,handsome and respectable amount on the same ratio of already mentioned qualities .

8- Do I have to travel outside my city for modelling ?
Modelling can involve some traveling sooner or later and this does depend on the location of shoots and castings for you to attend. Usually your agency will arrange your travel and mostly all your travel expenses are paid for and covered by the clients. But mostly before sending portfolio picture to such out of station clients , an agenwill always check with the models about their availability for this and willingness and there is no compulsion of doing it on you, in case your do not wish to do it or travel outside or so , you can tell your agency that you are looking for local area work only , normally models below 18 and other kids and aged or mature models do not ask to travel .

9- Would modelling affect my studies?
Agencies will do castings for you and find work, it is up to you to decide which castings and shoots you would like to attend. Do not be afraid to say no. If you are in full time education or having the exams your agency will be aware and would only call you at the weekends and holidays so your studies are not interrupted. A model can take a break and inform the modelling agencies about their being busy in exams or so for a particular period and can resume work once its finished or can do work at available time only.

10- I’m shorter than the models you see on the catwalk, can I still start Modelling?
Just because you don’t fit the catwalk or Ramp Modelling certainly doesn’t mean you haven’t got what it takes to be a model. Ramp Modelling industry is only 5-10 % percentage out of the total industry , so we have 90-95 % industry for the models those are Groomed by the best and well known Groomer , having a top quality Portfolio only by Best Portfolio Photographer and launched in the industry by the best launch agency only with full guidance , then one can make to success level in any height , the industry is really big and huge, all a model need is the best platform and overall handling with right guidance and directions .

11- I’m between′ 4'11 to 5'4 , am I too short to become a model?
Great things comes in small packaging , only in ramp modelling you need the height as you have the direct eye contact and presence with the audience there and in all other type of work or shoots audience get to see a model later not at same time, for print modelling and tv commercial or any product endorsement , mostly clients wants good face mainly and all photographers want good model with expressive face and great posing skills mainly , so height does not really matter in print and tv shoots or serials .An exceptionally photogenic and talented but short height model can be a better model and can do more good quality work than any other tall model who has no camera presence or posing skills . Only height without all required qualities is not so much of use also , so talented short height models can be good level print models and can shoot regularly and be busy all month on work if they are well groomed and are photogenic with good face value like smile or eyes or so and have been launched by the best modelling agency . 2 girls who are just 4'11 are groomed and launched by us , you can see them in the links given below and they both are of 4'11 only and doing tremendously good work.

12- How long does it take for a model to get jobs?
This again depends on what the clients are looking for. There are many stories where models start picking up jobs from the moment they send their portfolio pictures to agencies till few months after they start. This can also depend on new trends, new fashions, and new companies and clients' taste and requirements . Ultimately you tend to get out what you put in, so be proactive. Rather than signing with an agency or depending upon few agencies to get your work after you start , you can use social networking sites and casting agencies to find work, this can be very challenging and interesting for you.

13- Do I need any prior experience to start modelling or does it matter?
The more important thing is to have determination, commitment and the burning desire to succeed. Ask yourself first, do you have these? – with them you can go anywhere and do anything.
Being successful is really about what you want. This will determine how much effort and commitment you can devote in the industry. Everyone has the potential to model. All kinds of people are required for a variety of marketing and advertising campaigns. The modelling arena is very diverse and inclusive now, nothing like how we might’ve thought that Super slim and very tall supermodels walking down the runway isn't always what clients are looking for. Castings and assignments are based on a variety of areas such as age, size, gender and distinguishing features if a model has any. It's good to know that times and trends have changed so there's a big market to capture everyone in the population. So anyone who is very focused and determined and has talent can be a model than only someone who has just some looks.

16- What type of model should you be?
The next step when it comes to becoming a model is knowing which category you fit into. You should know your suitability as it will help you. There are lots of types and knowing which will suit you the best will give you a heads up. It could even be that a modelling agency thinks you will suit a completely different area than you initially thought of

Types of models include catwalk models, commercial models, advertising models, catalogue models, male models, female models,plus-size models, sportswear models, mature models, body parts models and so on. There really is a variety of modelling categories and everyone, and we really mean everyone, can find at least one area in which they'll be able to seamlessly represent and model for.

17- Can I get some work first and then invest later ?
It's like asking if i can eat the fruit first and later sow the seeds or to have interest first from bank and later you will deposit the principal amount in bank, logically wrong , so similarly in any field one has to make the base and structure first and do the needful steps to start first and then later the end product or results comes, so same goes here also ,firstly you need to be Groomed for becoming an excellent level model in front of camera and then your should have a best quality Portfolio too in your hands to mail it to the agencies and clients and then only you can get work and earn.

18- Characteristics of a model
Being a model starts well before the cameras roll. A strong sense of character and drive is needed to be a model. Let's take a quick look at what characteristics will help if you’re looking to pursue a unique and interesting journey in this industry.

Confidence
It’s a great quality to have regardless. You’ll be expected to smile for the camera or perhaps stand in front of a crowd so having confidence in yourself is essential.

Determination in the face of rejection
It happens even to supermodels and is part and parcel of the modelling industry. Try not to be disheartened or discouraged if you get turned down for shoots- never take it personally, and just move on to apply for something else! Stay positive, stay a step ahead and keep looking out for new opportunities.

Skincare and hair care
Taking care of your skin and hair is paramount even if you aren’t a body parts model (i.e. eye models, hand models, feet models, hair models and so on). Prepare yourself by giving daily nourishment to enrich your skin and hair. It’ll be picked up by the camera, grab the client's attention and get you into a good skincare regime.

Healthy diet and lifestyle

Be the best you can be for yourself and look after your physique as your appearance is what will set you apart from others in the industry.

Master mirror work like a pro
Mirror work is observing yourself in the mirror and doing various poses and expressions. This is so that you can achieve muscle memory to remember what those poses feel. You can then effortlessly re-create them when you’re in the presence of a camera.

Maintain professionalism
Make a good impression on those you work with. Be punctual, respectful, truthful, and trustworthy and have a positive attitude. These key areas will translate professionally and those who you work with will have good feedback if ever asked about you and potentially open doors for more opportunities.

19- Can you look at my Instagram or Facebook profile and tell me if I have model potential?
We are afraid that we do not assess individuals from their Instagram or Facebook profiles, however you can email your basic 10-12 but recent photos ,mix of full lengths, some face shots and few one piece dress shots for us to see your face value and structure and potential to be a model by us, these pictures can be normal camera or mobile clicked pictures as of now as we are just seeing your basic looks and suitability ,later once your best Modelling Career start by us and after our Grooming Classes only your best Portfolio will be shot by none other than but best in the field and FACES MODEL MANAGEMENT owner Mr.MANISH GUPTA

20- The qualities you need to have to be a successful model
Confidence. Clients are looking for someone who is confident and can sell a product convincingly. If you are not naturally confident, consider using one of the many self-help books or on YouTube's videos available that can help you to build up self-confidence. To renew your confidence in your looks, remind yourself of compliments you've received from others.
A 'thick skin'. You must be able to handle the rejection that every model faces, while still putting yourself forward whenever there is a chance of getting the job. You can not expect to meet the expectations of every client. Try to think, 'It's good if I get the work, but if they don't want my look I won't feel bad about it'.
Stamina. A model needs to be fit and healthy so they can work all day and still look good at the end of it. Maintain a healthy diet and work out at least three times a week. If you can not afford a gym, walking and running are great exercises that anyone can do. If you are too busy to exercise, build exercise into your daily routine by walking to work or to the shops.
Independence. Professional models may have to travel often, so you need an independent spirit and a self-starting attitude. You will need to get yourself up in the morning and make sure you arrive at the job on time and ready to perform. You also need to be comfortable if you need to be by yourself for long periods.
Organisation. You need to be well organised in order to keep track of the dates, times and locations of your castings and appointments. Keep a paper diary with you or use one of the many online tools available to enter and edit your appointments. Keep all your papers in a single safe and secure location. Willpower. Working models can not afford to indulge in drink, drugs or partying. You must have the will power to say NO. An agency will drop a model very quickly if it becomes clear that his or her lifestyle could affect her work - or the agency's reputation. Availability and Responsiveness. Make sure it's easy for agencies to get in touch with you if they need to. When you have a confirmed job, communicate with the photographer/agency as much as you can, and answer their queries as quickly as possible. Fashion. Keep up with the latest styles and clothing trends, particularly those that suit your looks and style. Keep your portfolio updated with shots that use recent looks.
Persistence. This is perhaps the most important attribute of all. It takes a lot of work to be a professional model! It's no good waiting for work to come to you - you need the get-up-and-go attitude of someone who sets goals and goes after them. As someone had said, 'The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them.

21- What is Modelling?
Modelling is a skill and having the confidence and body awareness to pose for a photographer or walk the runway to promote new designs or products.

22- If tattoos are acceptable in modelling ?
Yes – modeling with tattoos is also an option and one can do modelling with tattoos also . But if you are serious about Modelling then DO NOT GO for tattoos . If you’re researching this question ,you probably already have some tattoos or you are thinking about getting one. There are photographers who would not mind models with tattoos. Most photographers want their subject to be not having tattoos and have clear skin and magazines and advertising people and modeling agencies avoid showing tattoos, especially if they are doing some brands campaigns shoot or doing some social message shoots. So we advise the models not to go for tattoos or one can go for temporary ones, but if you already have it then do not worry ,we will still manage it somehow if it is not so prominent and if the model is very good in her looks, work and talent . So this can be ignored and managed and not a big deal too .

23- Can I color my hair purple or red or cut it very short?
Most of the photographer, agencies ,clients will look for a model will good long shiny hair and of course good volume in hair too attracts and adds value in the pictures of the models , The fashion industry is constantly evolving and accepting a diverse range of models yet it is important to consider all your options before going ahead with that drastic haircut as a lot of factors need to be thought out carefully. For commercial modelling long hair is prefered , However, high fashion may accept short hair models too sometimes , ultimately what mainly matters is how a model carry herself if a short hair model has all the style, elegance and oomph ,she is also accepted and if long hair model does not give confidence in front of camera and elegance then that is also not much of impactful , so it depends and vary on models to models and their individual looks and suitability of face cut ,type of modelling they want to do and many other aspects , in general , long hair is preferred at least few inches below shoulder . and no red or purple colour is accepted in modelling except very few clients who want that kind of look ,most of the clients will prefer black or dark brown, almond brown, chocolate brown type colours only in female models .

Also remember , long hair models can also be given short hair looks in shoots and short hair models can also be given long hair looks when required with the help of many wigs and hair extensions available for female models by the help of good level makeup artists and hairstylists .

While these are normally edited in the final images . Stretch marks are very unlikely to affect your modelling career because they are so common. and in any case body make-up can be done if required in those areas. so be confident , do not worry ,it does not matter at all . Nothing can stop u to model if u determine .

If you’re under 16 it’s OK to bring a parent,be confident , do your research about the agency or the person well and once you are sure about the credibility of the person then it should be ok to go yourself . In our case we are open to having a meeting with a model with her parents if it's required with a valid reason and provided if she informs us in advance and asks us for it and models below 18 have to necessarily bring one or both the parents.

27- I am too dark or dusky, am i good for modelling ?
We feel dark girls are equally good for modelling , in fact mainly in fashion industry where Hi-fashion modelling is there , mostly designers, choreographers, stylists ,photographers ,makeup artists love dark or dusky complexion models more , dark is the fashion color they say, Many models from our agency have gone on international level to model or became super models with dark/dusky complexion only , so everyone can do modelling irrespective of their complexion we say.
